Opportunities in Today's Market

Many middle-class Americans who face cancer, heart disease or other serious illnesses also face thousands of dollars of debt. Fundraisers on crowdfunding websites like GoFundMe have become a popular way to find financial help in times of a healthcare crisis – yet only one in 10 campaigns meets its goal.*

The need is real. Think of the difference $30,000 could make for a person who has just been diagnosed with a serious illness. There’s never been a better time to sell critical illness insurance.

How Our Product and Process Differ

Consumers often express how the traditional process for buying insurance is too long and complicated. At Assurity, we heard the message loud and clear. We’ve taken steps to streamline the process with our Critical Illness Insurance.

Features

Our in-depth guide gives you all the details, but here are the key highlights:

Flexible lump-sum benefit amounts

from $5,000 to $75,000 for simplified underwriting (full underwriting for amounts from $75,001 to $500,000); 18 to 70 (age last birthday)

Return of premium (ROP) options

ROP upon death is not caused by a critical illness. A return of premium rider is also available, which returns a percentage of premiums if the policy is cancelled or lapses.

Multi-benefit payout

Unlike many CI policies that are “one and done,” ours pays for each different critical illness covered in the policy if the diagnosis is separated from the prior critical illness by at least six months.

Competitive commissions

Both up front and at renewal – a highlight of your book of business.

Underwriting Made Easy

Our process makes life easier for you and your clients.

Easy E-App

With just a few health questions and an instant decision, our E-application process can be completed in minutes.

No Medical Exams

Skip invasive, time-consuming exams and speed up sales with no medical exams required for your clients.

Policy Delivery

Our quick policy issue makes you money, with an average two-day turnaround for apps in good standing.

Cross-Selling Critical Illness Advantage

If your clients already qualified for preferred life insurance with another carrier, they may be able to get up to $200,000 in Critical Illness Insurance without additional underwriting. It’s a convenient way for them to get more coverage, and a great cross-selling opportunity for you. Get the details.
